The T’Boli (Tagabili, Tiboli) live in South Cotabato province, primarily in the towns of Kiamba, Maitum, and Surallah. They traditionally lived in scattered residences in the highlands southwest of Mindanao. The cultural life revolves around the highland lakes Sebu, Selutan, and Lahit. Extended families are common in households that operate as an economic and social unit.
T’Boli cultivates in swidden farms as their main source of income, cultivating highland rice as their staple food. The farming also includes other crops such as sugar cane, corn, coffee, and other cash crops such as taro and sweet potatoes.
